Roti Naan Di Jalan TAR

Salam semua,

Dia belanja!

Dia nak bawa kami makan kat satu restoran mamak kat Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR), nama restoran tu ialah RSMY House Of Real Briyani.

Macam selalu, disebabkan saya diabetic, sepatutnya tak boleh makan banyak cheese tapi malam tu saya bedal juga dua keping penuh. Ambik kau!

Ini nama restoran tu, RSMY House Of Real Beriani. Kalau susah nak cari, look out for Hotel Lotus ataupun Harrisons, kedai kain yang besar tu. Restoran ni terletak tak jauh sangat dari Harrisons. Anggaran saya lebih kurang 200 meter.

Ok lah. Nanti di lain kali saya update lagi di tempat lain pula.

Salam dari saya,
Rose

Sophie's Delight

Assalamualaikum semua,

Dah hampir sebulan saya tak upload apa-apa masakan atau cerita kat dalam blog saya. PC rosak lagi. Saya pulak tak berapa suka guna lap top, maklum sajalah, umur dah senja-senja ni, banyak benda yang tak berapa nak reti guna dah.

Sorry, bukan nak beletiaq (berleter), cuma terasa rindu nak menulis sebab lama tak tulis apa-apa.

1/4 cawan santan cair
2 sudu makan air gula
secubit garam

1 1/2 sudu makan kacang tanah masin

Pulut lemak yang digumpal menjadi bulat (4 butir)

2 sudu makan kacang merah.
2 sudu makan jagung berkrim.
4 sudu makan santan pekat

Setelah semua tersedia, bolehlah dimasukkan semua bahan diatas kedalam mangkuk berisi santan tadi.

Rose

Some Silly, Stupid And Embarrassing Things I Did

Hello again!

Just the other day, I was trying my old sarong. It is still good, though the hook was gone. I still wanted to wear that particular sarong, so what I did was, I get a safety pin to replace the missing pin. Voila, I managed to wear that sarong comfortably without anybody noticing it.

Now, I want to know, have any one of you did the kind of thing like I did as the above?  Doesn't matter what, I am sure there were days when we become super lazy to do anything at all, or we just couldn't care less about the way we look or we were tired of having to be or look great.

So, tell me, what are your embarrassing, stupidest or funniest things you may have done? Ok, let's do it this way. I list down a few things that I may have or have done previously, and you promise to read it all and check if you did what I had done before.

So, let's check it out :

1) I got this old favourite bra that has lost it's hooks. The eyes and tapes were either rusty or torn. I use it in the evening or while at home but sometimes, just sometimes  I wear it when I went out.
Any one of you did that?

2) I A couple of times when I am at a grocery store or shopping mall, I picked a few things and went straight to pay at the cashier counter. The cashier keyed in my items and the amount came up to RM53.20. What I had in my purse was only twenty five bucks. With my poker face, I said sorry but I only have 25 bucks. The cashier smiled and said she'll key in according to my budget.
That's the beauty of being middle age. People don't really judge you any more.

3) I am in a hurry but the queue at the post office was long. I went up to the third person queueing and asked him to help with my bills citing severe back pain. The sweet guy obliged and I was out of there in no time.
Ok, before any of you do any judgement on me, I am telling you right now, I do have a severe back pain but I am not in a hurry.

4) I forgot to replace my finished body wash while taking my shower. The shampoo is there though. Well shampoo is good enough, it works for me. I washed my hair and clean my body using the available toiletries, the shampoo. Two in one.
Rose, you are a genius.

5) While walking and window shopping in a crowded shopping mall, suddenly my handbag strap broke. What better way to walk confidently with your chin up than to cut the other side of the strap and clutch it under my arm like it belongs  there all the while. My arm got numb for clutching it too long.
I throw the stupid bag once I got home.

6) Every once in a while, we will have our dinner at one the restaurant or food outlet.Everyone  will place their own favourites including the drinks. Suddenly I saw a table across having an iced honey dew juice, and I tell you, it looks heavenly. When our drinks arrived, I looked at the orange juice placed in front of me and said to the waitress, "Did I order this just now?" She nodded. I looked at her and said actually I meant to order honey dew juice. Is it possible to change? The waitress obliged. That was so sweet.
What? You think I am not being fair? Hey, I am no angel.! Besides she agreed to change.

7) I went inside a bank after parking my car. After I am done with whatever transaction that needed to be done, I walked back to my car and pressed the key button to unlock it (while still walking) Once reached where my car was parked, I pulled the car handle. It didn't open. I tried again. Nope, it wouldn't budge. Stupid car. I pressed on the key button again. Somewhere away from the car, I can hear the teet..teet sound but not here. When I looked inside the car, I saw a guy looking at me fiercely. Oh my God! This is not my car. I bowed a little suggesting I am sorry towards the guy and walked quickly without looking back.
Rose, don't be embarrass, you're not the only one. I am sure many others shared the same situation as you did.

8) I woke up one day and thought I was already late for an appointment to pick up someone at 0700am. I took my shower and performed my Subh prayer (an early morning prayer), then started my car and off I went. It was still dark and I thought to myself, what a lovely morning! No traffic and everything looked unobtrusive. After a while, I peeked at my watch to see if I will be on time and....I took a second look at the watch again and....God forgive me for cursing non-stop. It was only 5.20am. I was way ahead for my schedule and way ahead for my Subh prayer.

9) I wanted to text Sophie saying, "Did you see my stripe pink underwear anywhere" but end up sending it to my husband. Lucky thing the message went to my husband.
For those of you who vaguely knows me, the list above is your chance to get to know me better.

10) I got in the elevator and pressed my floor and waited for it to elevate me up. After a while it stopped and I got out. I passed by my first neighbour's house. Oh! They've moved out. No shoe rack or potted plants next to her entrance. I passed by another neighbour house and saw that her door has no iron grill. Why did they take it off?
After another step, I realized I was at the wrong floor. Good thing nobody was around to see a stranger at their floor.

So, how many of you did any of the things I did as above? Don't be shy, come on, tell me.
As clumsy and forgetful I am, I still prefer to do things on my own. So, stupid or not, I am happy to say I am who I am.

Okay, I am done for today. Have a happy day people!

Love,
Rose
